Minimal pain is associated with the Sciton BBL Hero Laser Treatment. You may experience a warm feeling, but generally, patients only experience mild discomfort and often don’t even need to use a topical analgesic.
The Sciton BBL Hero is one of the safest broadband light therapy options available due to its advanced technology. However, as with every laser skin resurfacing treatment, there is the possibility of redness and swelling in the treatment area.
Most patients can start using makeup immediately after the treatment, and we recommend using a gentle moisturizer for several days as the skin recovers.
Excessive sweating and high body heat may interfere with the healing process. Typically after a week, normal exercise can be resumed.
Once optimal results are achieved after 2-5 treatment sessions, maintenance appointments are recommended every 3-6 months to retain the restoration benefits.
