What is visible on your skin surface is a reflection of the skin conditions that lie deep within. As an integral part of the Bengtson Center for Plastic Surgery and our Symmetry Med Spa & Laser Center, we go much deeper than the surface and evaluate your skin medically and scientifically.

To help further define a treatment program based on your specific concerns and evaluation your skin assessment may include a TruVu analysis. Our VISIA Complexion Analysis system, is a state-of-the-art facial imager that carefully appraises and scores six separate skin characteristics: wrinkles, spots, pores, evenness (color variation in the skin tone), porphyrins (evidence of bacteria in pores), and UV spots (characteristics of photo damage, typically from overexposure to sun).

Additionally, VISIA Skin Analysis provides an informative comparison of your complexion characteristics to those of other women your age and ethnicity. This information helps our aestheticians provide you a customized treatment.
