A double chin may be the result of genetics, or it may be caused by a number of factors, such as weight gain, hormonal issues, or even some types of medications. Some people are born with a tendency toward a double-chin and have it throughout their lives, while others develop submental fullness as a result of the aging process or weight gain.
Depending on the cause and progression of your double chin, some patients may select liposuction which can be performed as an isolated procedure under local or local with sedation or in combination with a Neck Lift/Facelift or other surgical options to resolve submental fullness.

Submental fat doesn’t respond to exercise either, so even if you work out regularly, and even if you engage in facial exercises, there’s really no way to eliminate a double chin without the help of a qualified aesthetic medical professional who can provide a proven treatment.
